Hate navigating through menus or searching for a feature on your home screen?  You can save time by customizing your toolbar to include your most frequently used QuickBooks features. To get 1-click access to your favorites, right-click on the toolbar and select ‘Customize Icon Bar’.  In the Customize Icon Bar you will see a list of the features currently on your toolbar. Here you can add, remove or reorder features.  You may also add separators to group like tasks.

Another way to customize your icon bar is to by adding particular windows or reports. Let’s say you wish to add the ‘Write Checks’ feature to your toolbar. Open the Write Checks window, select View, Add ‘Write Checks’ to the Icon Bar. You will then select an Icon to display with the Write Checks feature on your Icon Bar.
